Dr. Alisha Poonja


Dr. Alisha Poonja is a podiatric surgeon practicing in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.  She currently serves as the Director of the Rose Zivot Fellowship in Limb Salvage and Foot Reconstruction, a Clinical Lecturer with the University of Calgary and Treasurer of the Association of Alberta Podiatric Surgeons.  Her education consisted of a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Anatomy and Cell Biology at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. She went on to earn a Doctorate Degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Poonja completed her residency training at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. Her residency training exposed her to a diverse patient population where she developed clinical and surgical skills to treat a wide array of foot and ankle pathologies.
