A family medicine physician by training, Dr. Johnson started his sport medicine practice in 2015. In 2019,

Dr. Johnson decided that Canadian sport medicine physicians should be able to access high quality

ultrasound injection courses right here at home. Since then, his organization has taught more than 500

doctors and surgeons in over 50 courses in 5 years. He has gathered together 30 tutors in 5 provinces

and 4 American states. This track record places them high on the global leaderboard of training doctors to

scan, diagnose and inject safely.

In 2024, Sports Medicine Ultrasound is happy to announce it’s newest offerings, Podiatry Ultrasound, that

teaches podiatrists and foot and ankle surgeons to scan, diagnose and inject.
