Dr. Jennifer Nevin


Dr. Jennifer Nevin is a Clinical Instructor who specializes in orthopaedic oncology with a focus on upper extremity reconstruction after oncology surgery. She completed her medical degree and residency training in orthopaedics at the University of British Columbia. She then went on to complete a fellowship in upper extremity surgery at the world-renowned Roth MacFarlane Hand and Upper Limb Centre at St. Joseph's Health Centre in London, ON. During that time, she was trained in managing trauma and reconstruction of the shoulder, elbow, hand, and wrist. Most recently, Dr. Nevin completed fellowship in orthopaedic oncology at Mount Sinai Hospital at the University of Toronto.

Her clinical practice includes all aspects of orthopaedic oncology, including the resection and reconstruction for benign aggressive tumours, primary bone and soft tissue sarcomas and metastatic disease. She is part of the Musculoskeletal Cancer & Sarcoma multidisciplinary care team at the BC Cancer Agency.

Dr. Nevin has also completed a Masters of Health Science degree in Clinical Epidemiology at UBC. Her research interests include clinical outcomes after upper extremity tumour resection and reconstruction.
